“Curiosity killed the cat: satisfaction brought it back.”
-Some cat owner somewhere
For those who want more than a tweet’s worth:
I am…?
A maker at heart, full of curiosity and wonder. I started off in NYC, moved around a bunch, and landed in the South Jersey area near Philly. When I’m not work-writing, or for-fun-writing, you can find me nestled in an egg chair reading, doing puzzles before my cats can eat the pieces, gardening, practicing archery, walking Gwynn, or trying to get something suspicious out of a cat’s mouth.
What do you mean for-fun-writing?
Beyond a couple articles I have published advocating for awareness around infertility (found here and here), I also am in the midst of writing a romantasy series! I’m beginning the submission process in 2025 for my first one. I have 5 in various stages of “done” that I’ve been working on since 2018. Driven by the challenge of NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month, a challenge of writing 50,000 words in 30 days), I’ve written over 610,000 words. Because writing for a day job wasn’t a big enough character count for me.
